The Teamsters Local 727 Benefits Fund Trustees are proud to announce that the Funds Trustees have approved extending health and welfare coverage, thru May 31, 2020, to any participant that would have lost or will lose coverage due to not working enough hours during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
“I am proud of the Teamsters Local 727 Benefits Fund Trustees for their continued action in addressing how the Benefit Funds can help during this worldwide pandemic. As coronavirus continues to spread throughout the Chicagoland area, it’s more important than ever workers have healthcare,” said John Coli, Jr. Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 727. “Furthermore, while we have participants on furlough, the Trustees will continue to review hours and coverage on a month by month basis,” added Coli.
