Union’s Contract Extension Offer Contingent on Osco Accepting Mediation Dates

The Teamsters Local 727 Bargaining Committee on May 4 offered to extend the contract covering about 500 Chicago-area Osco pharmacists until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 20. The contract extension offer, which also includes full retroactivity, is contingent on the company agreeing to meet with the Local 727 Bargaining Committee and a federal mediator on Wednesday, May 18, and Friday, May 20.

Pepsi management sent Teamsters Local 727 a draft contract document incorporating tentative agreements and the already agreed-upon merged language that combines all four previous contracts.
