Open Enrollment Period for the National Coalition of Labor’s Life, AD&D, and Short-Term Disability Products Now Until November 30th

The annual Open Enrollment period for the National Coalition of Labor’s (formerly “Midwest Coalition of Labor”) Life, AD&D, and Short-Term Disability products opened this week and will remain open until November 30th.

Click HERE for information on Supplemental Life/AD&D Coverage through VOYA: For supplemental life and AD&D insurance through VOYA, active members can elect to purchase up to $350,000 in additional coverage (on top of what the Union already provides) at low cost, and with no medical exams or questions. Members must be active to purchase this supplemental coverage, but they can take it with them into retirement up to age 75. Members can enroll by visiting www.nclenrollment.com or calling (888) 212-7822.

Click HERE for information on Short-Term Disability Coverage through MetLife: Two levels of Short-term disability coverage though MetLife are available – $250 per week or $500 per week. Members must be active to purchase this coverage. (FYI – During the first 12 months of coverage, benefits cannot be paid for pre-existing conditions – an injury or sickness for which the member has been treated in the 3 months preceding the effective date of coverage.)
