Election Day is Tomorrow—Have you Voted?
The 2018 elections have arrived and Teamsters Local 727 encourages all members to get out and vote!
As Teamsters, we understand that every voice matters and together our voices are powerful. Each time we have the courage to stand up, we have the ability to effect change.
“This year’s elections are our opportunity to make our voices heard,” says Secretary-Treasurer John Coli, Jr. “We need to take advantage of this opportunity and use our power to push the issues most important to us to the forefront. When/Where can I vote?
- TODAY – Illinois residents may vote today at a grace period registration and voting location. Click here to find an early voting location near you.
- ELECTION DAY – Polls are open 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th. Each voter must vote at his or her designated precinct polling place. Click here to locate your polling place.
How do I know if I’m registered to vote?
What if I’m not registered?
- You can still vote! Illinois residents who have not registered to vote may register during the grace period (today) or on election day. Simply arrive to a designated polling place with two valid forms of identification, one of which lists your current address, and ask for assistance in registering and casting a provisional ballot.
