Local 727 Pickets Prime Parking for Unlawful Behavior

| April 28, 2017

For several days, Teamsters Local 727 has been picketing Prime Parking, located at 2 E. Oak St. in Chicago. The company, which recently acquired the contract to manage the parking garage, has unlawfully terminated and unlawfully refused to hire eight long-time attendants.

“We will not stand idle when hardworking, loyal members lose their jobs due to the callousness of ownership,” said John Coli Jr., President of Local 727. “Protecting union jobs is our highest priority and we are committed to fighting for our members until this issue is resolved.”

Members with question should contact Business Representative Ben Rodriguez at (847) 696-7500 or [email protected]msterslocal727.org.

Local 727 represents approximately 3,500 members employed in the parking industry.
