After more than two years of pressure from Teamsters Local 727, Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution, Inc. has presented the Union bargaining committee with a proposal to resolve Local 727’s outstanding sick day grievances and unfair labor practice charges.

In summary, GLCCD has proposed: (1) to modify the Coca-Cola Refreshments attendance policy to conform to GLCCD’s current attendance policy; and (2) to provide all GLCCD employees covered by all collective bargaining agreements five paid sick days annually.

Teamsters Local 727 urges all GLCCD members to attend a presentation of the proposal this Sunday, February 24th at 9 a.m. to learn more about the full details of the Company’s proposal.  Voting will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to determine whether the Union will accept GLCCD’s offer.
