Nomination Meeting Notice

The Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women's Committee once again is promoting a Chicago Wolves Family Outing on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

Tickets cost $16.75 and include a free Wolves stocking cap, a free souvenir program, and a pregame fireworks and laser show. Orders must be received by Jan. 15.

The Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women's Committee's Fourth Annual Gala Dinner Dance to benefit the continuing education of Teamster women will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Holiday Inn Express O'Hare in Rosemont.

Cocktails at 6:30, dinner at 7:30, dancing until midnight.

Join the Teamsters Joint Council 25 Women's Committee at its quarterly membership meeting. Prizes will be raffled, and coffee and pastries will be served. All active Women's Committee members in attendance also will be entered in a drawing to win a free trip to the 2016 Teamsters Women's Conference Sept. 22-24 in Hollywood, Calif.

The Brookfield Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) will hold its 10th annual Spaghetti Dinner benefitting the Vital Ground Foundation and the Illinois Raptor Center from 4-8 p.m. on March 31 at the Brookfield Zoo Discovery Center. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 2-12. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by visiting brookfieldaazk.org. Admission and/or parking for the zoo are free at the South Gate after 3:30 p.m.
