Teamsters Local 727 Remembers Former IBT Political and Legislative Action Director Christy Bailey
It is with great sadness that Teamsters Local 727 announces the passing of Christy Bailey at age 52.
Christy worked for over 20 years for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and served most recently as the Political and Legislative Action Director. Christy’s work was vital in enhancing the Teamster’s power at the ballot box.
“The work Christy did for the Teamsters was so important in holding political leaders accountable to the promises they made to organized labor. She was a true professional and will be missed,” said John Coli, Jr. Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 727.
