PHOTOS: Union Hosts Barbecue for MV Transportation Chicago, Division 135
Teamsters Local 727 hosted a barbecue for MV Transportation Chicago, Division 135 members on August 10. Many members stopped by the Local 727 barbecue tent to enjoy the grilled fare.
Rita Hearns said, “This is my first day on the job and look what I came to – a wonderful welcoming. I’m glad I could be a part of it.”
Echoing Rits’a joy and excitement at being able to participate in a Union barbecue was Jerowe Stanciel, who said “Anytime that something nice like this happens, we really appreciate it. The Union represents us well.”
Local 727 represents more than 200 employees at MV Transportation Chicago.
