PHOTOS: Union Hosts Barbecues for MV Transportation North Cook and First Transit DuPage
Teamsters Local 727 recently hosted paratransit barbecues for MV Transportation North Cook and First Transit DuPage. Like previous barbecues, paratransit members enjoyed delicious food while having an opportunity to chat with union representatives and their fellow workers in a relaxed setting.
Gil Wieczorek of First Transit DuPage had nothing but praise for his Teamster business representative Chris Owoyemi, exclaiming, “Chris is doing a great job. He represents us well.”
And MV Transportation North Cook member Nicoles Barron expressed his thanks to the Union for being there not only to fight for his contractual rights, but also for “doing nice things for us,” such as this cookout.
Local 727 represents 90 employees at MV Transportation North Cook and approximately 30 at First Transit DuPage.
