Local 727 is Gearing Up to Make Strides Against Breast Cancer
Teamsters Local 727 invites all members and their families to join the Union in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer at the American Cancer Society’s upcoming walk in Park Ridge, IL. Grab your comfiest walking shoes and come out to support the fight against breast cancer!
The three-mile walk will take place on Saturday, October 6th, beginning at 9 a.m. at Hodges Park—101 S. Courtland Ave, Park Ridge. To register, visit our Team Page by clicking here.
Local 727 will once again be sponsoring the Park Ridge walk. Make sure to bring your camera and hop up on the Big Pink Chair to snap a picture with the 727 sign!
Last year, Local 727 members banded together to raise nearly $1,550 for breast cancer research. But there is still more to be done.
“When we stand together, we effect change,” said John Coli, Jr., Secretary-Treasurer of Local 727. “I hope all of our members will come out and stand with Local 727 as we show our support for those fighting this terrible disease.”
