Local 727 to Fairly Recalculate Commissioned Beverage Members’ Dues Rates
Teamsters Local 727 has begun the process of fairly recalculating union dues rates for commissioned beverage members based on their 2015 earnings. “Routes change and the economy fluctuates, so this is the only way to ensure fairness for our members,” said John Coli Jr., President of Local 727.

Teamsters Local 727 members voted by a 17-to-1 margin on Sunday, Jan. 10, to overwhelmingly ratify a new three-year contract with Coca-Cola Refreshments in Niles and Alsip, Ill.

Following a 27-day unfair labor practice strike, Teamsters Local 727 reached tentative agreement on a new three-year contract with Coca-Cola Refreshments on Tuesday, December 29. Upon ratification, the agreement will cover all 319 production and warehouse workers and transport drivers in Niles and Alsip.
