Local 727 Benefit Funds Relocating to Park Ridge This Month
More Convenient Office Location Scheduled to Open June 20
The Teamsters Local 727 Benefit Funds will be relocating to 1300 W. Higgins Road in Park Ridge at the end of the month.
The Benefit Funds office is scheduled to be up and running in its new space starting June 20. Plan participants, pensioners and vendors will receive a postcard mailer in the coming weeks informing them of the move. The phone and fax numbers will remain the same.

The move to Park Ridge means that the Local 727 Benefit Funds will be in the same building as Teamsters Local 727 and Elite Administration & Insurance Group, which processes claims for Local 727 Benefit Funds participants. The new location also is more conveniently located, with easy access to the interstate and the CTA Cumberland Blue Line station.
“This move will allow us to better serve our participants, which is always our top priority,” said Benefit Funds Manager Bill Coli.
The Local 727 Benefit Funds have occupied its current office space at 5940 W. Montrose Ave. in Chicago for more than 40 years. At the time, Teamsters Local 727’s membership was only about 2,000 members, mainly from the funeral and parking industries. But today, the local union’s membership has increased to nearly 10,000 members across myriad industries, and in turn, the Benefit Funds also have grown.
“We have grown so much over the years, and our new, updated office space will give us the room and tools we need as we continue to grow,” Coli said.
In addition to housing the Local 727 Benefit Funds (Health & Welfare, Pension and Legal & Educational Assistance), the office also is home to the Chicago Newspaper Publishers Drivers’ Pension Fund, the Soft Drink Industry Pension Fund and the Parking Industry Labor Management Committee (PILMC).
