Parking Members Receive $0.75 Annual Contractual Raise

Last year, Teamsters Local 727 negotiated annual wage raises in the master parking agreement. The agreement covers more than 2,000 parking attendants working at commercial and residential locations throughout the Chicago area. Each contract anniversary, increases are allocated between wages and benefit contributions. This year’s annual contract wage increase is $0.75 per hour and went into effect November 1, 2017.

All employees covered by the master parking agreement shall continue to receive their longevity wage increases throughout the life of the contract.

“Due to the Union’s efforts, raises in 2016 and 2017 have been higher than in previous years,” said John Coli Jr., Secretary-Treasurer of Local 727. “Our hardworking parking members deserve these raises, and we’re proud to be able to fight for them.”
