Union Attorneys to Begin Drafting Final Pepsi Contract for Membership to Review

| May 3, 2016

Pepsi management sent Teamsters Local 727 a draft contract document incorporating tentative agreements and the already agreed-upon merged language that combines all four previous contracts. The company said it will send the union an updated draft that also includes Pepsi’s complete last, best and final economic offer on Wednesday.

Once the union receives the draft contract that incorporates the company’s final economic proposal, union attorneys then will be tasked with going through the draft line by line to ensure the merged language and tentative agreements are properly represented based upon the agreements reached by the parties during negotiations.

The union has made it clear that the membership needs the opportunity to review the full, complete contract draft before taking a vote.

The union will continue to update the membership as more information becomes available. If you have questions, contact your Local 727 Business Representative.
