| December 19, 2017

Recently, Teamsters Local 727 filed unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board against River North Parking, Inc. stemming from its refusal to provide information to the Union.

Region 13 of the NLRB found merit with the charges Local 727 filed contesting River North Parking’s refusal to provide information. The information the Company refused to provide included an up-to-date employee roster, wage rates, schedules, and operating locations that were requested and have been outstanding since August.

“Employers like River North Parking need to know that if they violate labor laws, this Union is not afraid to fight back and challenge them every step of the way,” said John Coli Jr., Secretary-Treasurer of Local 727.

The NLRB also issued a formal notice that the parking company must post and mail to all employees. Additionally, River North Parking must also immediately provide the Union with the information it requested.
