NLRB Requires Buddy’s Parking to Pay Back Dues

| July 6, 2016

Region 13 of the National Labor Relations Board is requiring Buddy’s Parking to pay back dues, penalties and late fees after the company attempted to shirk its financial obligations to Teamsters Local 727.

Additionally, the NLRB issued a formal notice that the company formerly known as USA Parking must post and mail to employees.

“Employers like Buddy’s Parking need to know that if they violate labor laws, this union will fight them every step of the way,” said John Coli Jr., President of Local 727.

Earlier this year, Local 727 filed labor board charges against Buddy’s Parking for failing to provide requested information and failing to remit union dues. NLRB Region 13 found merit in the union’s charge.

Teamsters Local 727 represents nearly 10,000 hardworking men and women, including more than 3,500 parking industry workers throughout the Greater Chicago area.
