Local 727 Secures Retroactivity Agreement for all Trade Show Industry Members

| December 21, 2018

While Teamsters Local 727, Freeman Decorating Company, and Global Exposition Services (G.E.S.) have made significant progress during negotiations for new trade show industry collective bargaining agreements, the issue of the Central States Pension Fund has not yet been completely decided.  As such, negotiations for a new master trade show industry, Freeman warehouse, and G.E.S. warehouse contracts will continue into the new year.

As the trade show industry CBA’s are set to expire on December 31, 2018, Local 727 has secured a Retroactivity Agreement with Freeman and G.E.S. which ensures Local 727 members will receive all wage raises agreed upon in the future contracts retroactive to January 1, 2019.

“Local 727 will not stop fighting for our members,” said John Coli, Jr., Secretary-Treasurer of Local 727.  “We won’t give-in and we won’t give-up until we secure contracts that our members can depend upon.”

Local 727 will continue to keep members updated on the progress of negotiations in 2019.
