Local 727 and GLCCD Reach Tentative Agreement on New 3-Year CBA

| April 24, 2019

After a marathon bargaining session of more than 13 hours yesterday, Tuesday, April 23, the Teamsters Local 727 bargaining committee and Great Lakes Coca-Cola Distribution, Inc. successfully reached a tentative agreement on a new 3-year successor collective bargaining agreement.  The tentative agreement unifies the three CBAs that previously covered Inside and Outside GLCCD employees, and GLCCD employees operating under the former Coca-Cola Refreshments contract, into a single CBA.

Local 727 is currently working to finalize a draft of the tentative agreement that will be distributed to all members prior to a ratification vote.

“I’m very proud of the Union bargaining committee’s dedication and perseverance throughout this long, tough process,” said John Coli, Jr.  “The Union bargaining committee looks forward to discussing the details of the tentative agreement with all GLCCD members and will recommend all members vote ‘For Contract’ at the ratification vote.”

Local 727 will update members as soon as the details of a ratification vote have been confirmed.
