84 Days to Election Day: Local 727 Phone Banks for Pritzker and Pro-Labor Candidates
Teamsters Local 727 Business Agents volunteered alongside fellow union members this past Wednesday to support J.B. Pritzker and all labor-friendly candidates up for election this November.
The Business Agents spent more than three hours speaking to fellow union members about the issues that matter most to them and the importance of voting for candidates who support Illinois’ working families.
“Missourians made their voices heard on Tuesday when they voted to strike down Prop A and the state’s ‘Right to Work’ legislation. This November is our turn,” said John Coli, Jr., Secretary-Treasurer of Local 727.
“Local 727 wants to make sure all Illinoisans understand the importance of voting,” added Coli. “By casting your ballot, you can directly impact the direction of your city, state, and country. Voting this November for pro-labor candidates like Pritzker will guarantee that hardworking families of Illinois will receive the respect and support they deserve.”
